USA Swimming Names Lisa Wemhoff National Team Performance Support Coordinator

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado, September 10. USA Swimming today announced the promotion of Lisa Wemhoff to National Team performance support coordinator. Wemhoff, who first joined USA Swimming in the summer of 2008, recently completed a one-year Coach Fellowship.

"Lisa has developed into an integral part of the National Team staff," said Russell Mark, USA Swimming's National Team performance support director, "She is dedicated to serving the USA Swimming and National Team community with diligence and passion, and I am very excited to continue working with her."

As the Coach Fellow, Wemhoff was responsible for competition preparation and services for the National Team at domestic and international competitions, including the 2009 World University Games and the Youth Team Vancouver meet. She also provided support for the entire National Team performance support staff. She will continue to fulfill these responsibilities while also traveling to clubs and working with rising Youth Team athletes.

Wemhoff graduated from the University of Nebraska, Omaha, where she earned a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and served as captain of the swim team.
