USA National Junior Team Led by Joshua Chen, Leah Shackley, Addison Sauickie (ROSTER)
USA Swimming, the National Governing Body of the sport of swimming in the United States, today announced the 74 athletes named to the 2023-2024 National Junior Team presented by the USA Swimming Foundation.
The team is headlined by 2023 World Aquatics Junior Championships individual gold medalists Joshua Chen (Ames, Iowa/Texas Ford Aquatics), Leah Shackley (Bedford, Penn./Blair Regional YMCA), and Addison Sauickie (Sarasota, Fla./Sarasota Sharks). In total, 16 athletes from the roster medaled at the 2023 World Aquatics Junior Championships.
Bailey Hartman (Danville, Calif./Crow Canyon Sharks) is the lone athlete to qualify in five individual events, with Luke Whitlock (Noblesville, Ind./Fishers Area Swim Team) and Kaii Winkler (Miami, Fla./Eagle Aquatics) adding four each.

A breakdown of the 2023-2024 U.S. National Junior Team:
- 53 USA Swimming clubs are represented
- 39 athletes have represented the U.S. internationally
- 49 athletes make their National Junior Team roster debut
- Six athletes have been on the junior team for at least three years
- 29 athletes were on the World Aquatics Junior Championships Team
