University of the Pacific Gets Commitment from Burlingame’s Anna Grinberg
NEW COMMIT: Moss Beach, Calif. native Anna Grinberg has announced her commitment to the University of the Pacific and will join the Tigers as a member of the class of 2024.

She told Swimming World:
“I am super excited to announce my commitment to swim and study at the University of the Pacific! Thank you to Coach Ben, my parents, and everyone who has supported me throughout this journey. Go Tigers!!”
A talented freestyler, Grinberg swims year-round with Burlingame Aquatic Club and most recently recorded two best times at Carlsbad Sectionals and won the 800m free at the Husky Invite in December. She competed at Far Westerns and earned silver in the 50m free at the BSC Bulldog meet last summer.
Her best times include:
- 50 Free – 24.79
- 100 Free – 54.17
- 200 Free – 1:54.97
- 500 Free – 5:07.34
- 1000 Free – 10:45.17
- 1650 Free – 18:02.51
- 200 IM – 2:15.31
Pacific finished sixth overall in the team standings at the 2020 MPSF Championships.
