University of South Carolina Secures Commitment from Tamas Novoszath

Tamas Novoszath of Szeged, Hungary has committed to swim for the University of South Carolina beginning in the fall of 2017. Novoszath is a distance specialist who has swum as a member of the Hungarian National Team where he was most recently 8th at the 2016 World Junior Open Water Championships in Hoorn, Netherlands.

Novoszath, who has US Open qualifying times in the 200, 400, 800, and 1500 Free, graduated from high school in 2016 and is currently swimming at Fork Union Military Academy in Fork Union, VA where he is a member of their Post Graduate swim program. While in Hungary, he swam year round for his club program, Szegedi Uszo Egylet.
