Sydnie Saddoris has committed to swim for the University of Sioux Falls. The Colorado high school senior swims for Mountain Vista High School where she is coached by Rob Nasser. She is a freestyle specialist.

Her best times are:

  • 50 Free 24.98
  • 100 Free 54.58
  • 200 Free 1:58.94

The University of Sioux Falls women’s swim team is in its first year of competition. The team will compete at the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Championship later this month. Saddoris will have a chance to help shape a young program and bolster the current roster of 10 athletes.

While the team has yet to post end of season times, Saddoris appears to be in the mix of top freestylers for Sioux Falls. At the Rochester Invite in December, when many teams are rested and suited up, Sioux Falls swimmers achieved seven NCAA Division II B cuts. Allison Eppinga leads the sprint freestyle charge. With a 51.16 second 100 freestyle and a 23.62 in the 50 she’ll provide a great training partner for Saddoris.
