Ukraine Summer Cup: Distance, Medleys Conclude Final Day

KHARKIV, Ukraine, May 8. THE Ukraine Summer Cup came to a close with distance freestyle and 200 IM titles up for grabs in an abbreviated final day of competition.

Maxim Shemberev won the men's 1500 free in 15:40.65, while Anton Goncharov took second in 15:53.28. Michael Romanchuk rounded out the top three in 15:53.84. Anna Stetsenko captured the women's 800 free title in 8:54.02. Xenia Skripel placed second in 8:56.07, while Iryna Glavnyk picked up third in 9:06.46.

Denis Dubrov hit the wall in 2:03.66 to win the men's 200 IM. Igor Lytvenok placed second in 2:04.80, while Vitaly Alpatov wound up third in 2:05.02. Iryna Glavnyk topped the women's 200 IM in 2:17.70. Alena Kiseleva finished second in 2:19.86, while Oksana Marchuk earned third in 2:19.99.
