TYR Pro Swim Series: Women’s 400 IM

After taking the top seed earlier in the 200 free, Katie Ledecky claims her second No. 1 seed with her swim in the 400 IM.

The showdown between Ledecky and Katie Grimes in the 400 Im was one of the most anticipated events of the meet, and so far, so good.

Grimes, also swimming a double, took the second seed in 4:42.04.

Both swimmers were well off their best times, leaving plenty in the tank for a finals session with two events.

Olympian Leah Smith took the third seed in 4:44.41.
