Tulane Gets Verbal Commitment from Floridian Noa Heron

NEW COMMIT: Largo, Florida’s Noa Heron has made a verbal commitment to swim for Tulane University beginning with the 2018-2019 season.

Heron said in her announcement on Twitter,

“I couldn’t be happier to announce my verbal commitment to swim for Tulane University! Can’t wait to call Tulane my home next year!”

Heron is a distance freestyler who is already in conference scoring range. She would have posted top 16 finishes in both the 500 and the 1650 at the 2017 American Athletic Conference Championship.

Her best SCY times are:

  • 200 Free 1:52.53
  • 500 Free 4:53.81
  • 1000 Free 10:17.37
  • 1650 Free 17:00.59

Haron is a rising senior at Seminole High School. At the 2016 Florida 3A state championship Heron’s highest finish was a fourth place 500 freestyle. She does her club swimming with West Florida Lightning Aquatics.
