Townley Haas Wins 500 Free on Night Two of 2018 Men’s DI NCAA’s

Texas junior Townley Haas swam a 4:08.60 to take the win in the A final, just under the pool record that second place-finisher, Felix Auböeck (4:09.03), set this morning. NC State’s Anton Ipsen (4:09.13) took third, also under the old pool record.

Also in the A final was Stanford’s Grant Shoults (4:10.02), South Carolina’s Akaram Mahmoud (4:12.14), Texas Longhorn Sam Pomajevich (4:12.83), Stanford’s Liam Egan (4:14.49) and Michigan’s Ricardo Vargas (4:17.23).
