Tori Gutt Named ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District

GREELEY, Colorado, May 24. NORTHERN Colorado sophomore swimmer Tori Gutt was today named to the ESPN The Magazine All-District VII Second Team in the women's at-large category, which includes women's bowling, women's crew, men's and women's fencing, women's field hockey, men's and women's golf, men's and women's gymnastics, men's and women's ice hockey, men's and women's lacrosse, men's and women's rifle, men's and women's skiing, men's and women's swimming & diving, men's and women's tennis, men's volleyball, men's and women's water polo and wrestling.

Gutt, from Tucson, Ariz., has a 4.00 grade point average in criminal justice. She owns the school record in the 200 meter breaststroke after swimming a 2:21.11 at the Conference USA Championship earlier this season.

To be eligible, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.3 GPA (on a 4.0 scale), be a sophomore or higher in academic standing, have completed at least one year at their current institution and be a starter or key reserve.
