Full wall-to-wall coverage, including photo galleries, athlete interviews, recaps and columns are available at the Event Landing Page

OMAHA, Nebraska, June 30. IF you've been a regular watcher of The Morning Swim Show since the first episodes in 2008, you're aware of the show's “Reverse Curse,” meaning people who appear on the show tend to go on to big things in the future, contrary to the curse of appearing on the cover of Sports Illustrated. It's a term we first coined during the 2008 Olympics.

That's not to say everyone who appears on the show automatically will coast to a spot on a major international team, set a record or achieve ultimate fame. But it certainly hasn't hurt!

Tonight's women's 100 freestyle final at the U.S. Swimming Trials was a major example of The Morning Swim Show “Reverse Curse,” as the six top finishers have been a presence on the show in some form in the past 12 months.

Below, our list of Morning Swim Show interviews from 2011 and 2012 featuring those six women, starting with this April interview with winner Jessica Hardy:

Next up is runner-up Missy Franklin, who talked to us in May:

Allison Schmitt, the third-place finisher tonight, was scheduled to appear in a June interview with Elizabeth Beisel and Felicia Lee, but training in Colorado Springs prevented her from taking part. Beisel and Lee filled the gap by talking about Schmitt throughout the interview:

We did not talk to fourth-place finisher Lia Neal directly, but we got the next best thing — her coach, Rachel Stratton-Mills, in an interview last August:

Amanda Weir, the fifth-place finisher, was the main subject of an interview her coach Chris Davis gave in July 2011:

And Natalie Coughlin, the sixth-place finisher, is no stranger to The Morning Swim Show. Her most recent interview took place on Dec. 22, 2011:

The Morning Swim Show will be back with a new episode on July 4 featuring a 2012 Olympian!
