The Morning Swim Show: Recapping South Africa Stop in FINA World Cup; Eric Hansen Talks About Goals for University of Wisconsin Swimming; Jan Emler on Making Toddlers Comfortable in the Pool

PHOENIX, Arizona, October 21. A top-flight college coach and a renowned swim school instructor are the highlights of today's edition of The Morning Swim Show.

Host Peter Busch starts things off with a recap of the South African stop of the FINA World Cup, where Tunisian Ous Mellouli stole the show from the local swimmers. In the College Swimming Tuesday segment, University of Wisconsin head coach Eric Hansen talks about the key ingredients that have helped his team become a Top 15 school in Division I men's and women's swimming. Hansen also talks about the need for diversity in his swimmers to make a well-rounded team and whether the new high-tech suits have a place in collegiate swimming.

In Tips and Technique, Jan Emler of Emler Swim Schools talks about ways swim instructors can erase toddlers' fears of the water by keeping the water warm, near 90 degrees, because it is close to their body temperature and will allow them to feel more comfortable while they are waiting for the teacher to work with them.
