The Morning Swim Show: “Nine Days of Beijing” Relives Olympics — Day One Remembers Gold Medal No. 1 for Phelps

PHOENIX, Arizona, December 23. THE Morning Swim Show is taking a look back at nine days of the best swimming in history with our year-end series "Nine Days of Beijing."

Day 1 of the series looks back at the start of Michael Phelps' run towards eight gold medals in Beijing with a convincing win in the 400 IM, Taewan Park's victory in the 400 free, Stephanie Rice's battle with Kirsty Coventry in the 400 IM and the Dutch women's upset win in the 400 free relay. Also featured is analysis by Swimming World Magazine senior writer John Lohn and an interview with 1976 Olympic gold medalist Wendy Boglioli.
