The Morning Swim Show: “Nine Days of Beijing” — Day Nine Recaps Emotional Week in Beijing

PHOENIX, Arizona, December 31. THE Morning Swim Show is taking a look back at nine days of the best swimming in history with our year-end series "Nine Days of Beijing."

Day 9 of the series is our comprehensive recap of the swimming from the Water Cube with Swimming World Magazine senior writer John Lohn. Naturally, Michael Phelps' achievement in the pool occupies most of the conversation, from his historic swims in Beijing to hat swims he might drop and which he might add to his program. Lohn also talks about his other favorite moments of the meet, including Dara Torres' near-win in the 50 free and Cesar Cielo's tearful breakdown on the medal podium.
