The Morning Swim Show: Discussion on the Future of Swimsuit Technology; USA Swimming Proposal

PHOENIX, Arizona, December 17. A discussion on the impact of swimmers finding loopholes to maximize the effect of the new swimsuit technology is the focus of today's edition of The Morning Swim Show.

Host Brent Rutemiller moderates the discussion between European journalist Craig Lord and American Swimming Coaches Association executive director John Leonard. Lord talks about the letter drafted by European coaches to curb the way swimmers are handling the new suit technology, particularly in wearing more than one suit. Leonard details USA Swimming's similar proposal and talks about the swimsuit manufacturers should not be blamed for the way the swimming world has progressed in the past 10 months.

Follow this 20-minute discussion as the three talk about the possible solutions, the timetable to remedy the situation and how this moment in swimming history will be viewed many years from now.
