The Morning Swim Show, August 14, 2012: Michael Weiss Excited To Be One of USA’s Best 400 IMers

PHOENIX, Arizona, August 14. U.S. Open champion Michael Weiss joins today's edition of The Morning Swim Show just days after winning his first big title in the 400 IM.

Weiss, entering his senior year at the University of Wisconsin, is having a banner year, but it did not come easy. The team at Wisconsin dealt with a complete change to the coaching staff, and Weiss talked about how soon he was able to feel comfortable with the new system. He also talks about the excitement he feels knowing he's one of the top 400 IM swimmers in the United States, and how it will motivate him in the years leading up to the next Olympic Trials.
