Texas A&M vs. North Texas

DENTON, Texas, January 7. NORTH Texas fell to No. 8 Texas A&M at the Pohl Recreation Center on Friday by a score of 173.5 to 116.5.

Seabre Pope finished in a dead heat for second place in the 50 yard freestyle, with a time of 24.80, tying her with Tess Simpson of Texas A&M.

In the 1,000 yard freestyle, Angie Dworschack set a North Texas season-best with a time of 10:25.26, finishing fourth.

Rebecca Taylor won the one-meter diving competition by posting a 243.60, narrowly missing her season best of 246.85. Taylor was the top North Texas finisher in the three-meter diving, posting a score of 227.25.

The Mean Green fall to 1-8 on the year, while the Aggies improve to 3-1.

The Mean Green return to the pool on January 14th at Rice. North Texas hosts their final home regular season meet of the year on February 2, as it hosts TCU at 6 p.m.
