NEW COMMIT: SwimMAC’s Sinclair Larson has verbally committed to swim for the University of Tennessee after her senior year at South Mecklenburg High School.

Larson is primarily a backstroker. Her best SCY times are:

  • 100 Back 54.41
  • 200 Back 1:55.33
  • 200 Free 1:48.10
  • 500 Free 4:53.13

At the 2017 North Carolina 4A High School state championships Larson finished fifth in the 200 IM (2:03.92) and fourth in the 100 backstroke (54.85).

She said in her announcement on Instagram,

“Super excited to announce my verbal commitment to swim for the University of Tennessee. I’m so grateful for this opportunity, and I can’t wait to be a vol!!”

Larson should be a point scorer for the Vols upon her arrival in Knoxville. At the 2017 SEC Championships she would have been a 200 backstroke B finalist and a 200 freestyle C finalist.
