Team USA Takes Home Gold Medal in Combo Event at FINA World Synchro Trophy Cup

MOSCOW, Russia, October 29. THE inaugural FINA World Syrnchronized Trophy Cup concluded Sunday with the combo event in Moscow, Russia. The elite international competition featured the duet, team and combination events and crowned an overall winner based on the highest sum of results.

The combo event always proves to be a fan favorite as it incorporates five different routines into one seven-minute program. The United States dazzled the crowd with a gold-medal combo performance by posting a score of 97.667 to take the top spot. Russia finished in second place with a 97.333, while Spain (96.667) and Japan (96.333) rounded out third and fourth places.

Russia was crowned the overall winner of the FINA World Trophy Cup with a point total of 295.999. Spain (292.334), Japan (290.333) and the United States (290.001) followed respectively.
