Synchronized Swimming World Series Coming To New York

The Synchro America Open presented by Le Rêve – The Dream will be held June 22-24 at the Nassau County Aquatic Center in East Meadow, N.Y. The event, part of the inaugural FINA Synchronized Swimming World Series, is the only international synchro event held in the U.S.

“USA Synchro has been working with Le Rêve for the last couple of years, and this partnership is a natural progression. Le Rêve is an exceptional show and provides a great career opportunity for all of our athletes,” said Myriam Glez, USA Synchro’s Executive Director/High Performance Director. “We want to make sure we work hand in hand with Le Rêve so that we can develop and promote the sport of synchronized swimming and feed more USA Synchro athletes into the show. Le Rêve has done a lot to promote our sport, and we would like to continue in this direction and thank them for their support.”

Le Rêve – The Dream is an aquatic stage production in residence at the Wynn Las Vegas casino resort that has been voted “Best Production Show” for seven consecutive years. The cast includes Olympic synchronized swimmers and world-champion gymnasts who perform inside an aquatic theater-in-the-round. From a thrilling high dive to an underwater tango, the stunning performers and breathtaking aerial feats of strength and agility have mesmerized audiences since its debut in 2005.
