SwimmingWorldMagazine.com Weekly Channel Recap: January 6, 2007
PHOENIX, Arizona, January 6. OVER the past week, SwimmingWorldMagazine.com covered the beginning of what looks to be an exciting few months as we head into the culmination of several seasons with the World Championships and NCAA Championships on the horizon.
The college year recommenced with many heavy hitters battling it out after long holiday training trips.
Meanwhile, Swimming World Magazine senior writer John Lohn looked at five potential long course world records that could go down this year as well as checked out the college scene and asked what our readers are looking for in 2007.
On a personal note, we wish John the very best this weekend as he will join the ranks of the men no longer on the market. Yes, Mr. Lohn is getting married and will be on a honeymoon hiatus over the next week. If you wish to send well wishes, please drop him a line at his e-mail.
In other news, Amy Wu began contributing as an official correspondent for the Masters channel on our site. She chatted with Greg Shaw about his latest performance in which he broke three short course Masters world records at the 2006 New England Masters Championships.
