PHOENIX, Arizona, February 17. LAST week, SwimmingWorldMagazine.com continued its coverage of the NCAA conference championship season as well as a plethora of breaking news items from across the world. Additionally, Mary Beck and Michelle McKeehan traded the national high school 200-yard IM mark in three straight weekends with Beck having the last crack at it with a 1:57.41.
Rick Whittlesey, head coach of Cleure Stampede in San Antonio, Texas, checked in with a premium article on the importance of hard work to be successful in swimming. Meanwhile, senior writer John Lohn gave our readers his thoughts on the recent fast swims around the world. Additionally, Sam Davis of Kickboard News began a new relationship with the web site as he debuted a feature on Josh Davis on SwimmingWorldMagazine.com.
Publisher/CEO Brent Rutemiller interview three-time Big Ten Diver of the Year and of the Championships Christina Loukas, of Indiana University, as the first diver on Swimming World Radio, while Loukas' teammate Matt Lenton concluded his run in the "A Day in the Life" series.
SwimmingWorldMagazine.com's new intern Brian Savard kept busy on his high school state championship beat with more than a week's worth of state recaps.
