Swimming World Magazine Team Partnership Program on the Rise

PHOENIX, Arizona, October 4. IN the past several weeks, the Swimming World Magazine Team Partnership added even more clubs to the program.

Yonkers Masters based in Yonkers, N.Y., delivered a small, but determined group of 15 to the program. The club has been around since 2001 and is comprised of fitness swimmers, triathletes and other serious swimming competitors. The membership ranges from their early 20s to mid 70s.

Star Swimming, also from New York in Hamburg, added 110 swimmers to the program. Coach Rick Aronberg helms the team where the mission is "To empower swimmers to become champions, both in and out of the water–dreams, dedication and excellence throughout a lifetime."

North Channel Aquatics joined up from Texas City in Texas with a group of 30 swimmers added to the team partnership program by coach Paige Mullen, while Yorktown Swim Club (YSC) out of Anderson, Ind., joins with a team of 100. Building Character, Promoting Good Values and Building Champions in and out of the Water is the main vision of YSC, which recently appointed Todd Griner as its new head coach.

Also, Walla Walla Swim Club out of Washington brings 20 swimmers to the program with Dustin Perry at the helm.
