Swimming World Competition Roundup

PHOENIX, Arizona, November 7. DURING the past week, meet managers took full advantage of uploading recent results to the Swimming World meet results section of the website.

COLLEGE
WABASH VS. ROSE HULMAN)
With a one-two finish in the final event, the 400 free relay, the Little Giants of Wabash College gave their new Coach Brent Noble his first-ever dual meet victory in the team’s home opener over the Rose Hulman Fighting Engineers, 147.5-146.5.

Results: Wabash College vs Rose-Hulman – (11-01-2013 – 11-01-2013)

KEENE STATE VS. BOSTON COLLEGE
The Keene State Owls fell to the Boston College Eagles Nov. 1 at the Flynn Complex Pool in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. The Keene State men lost by just 15 points, 157.5-142.5, while the Lady Eagles earned a 197-103 victory. Keene State competes in NCAA Division 3, while Boston College is in Division 1.

Results: Keene State v Bridgewater v Roger Williams – (10-26-2013 – 10-26-2013)

NEW ENGLAND INVITATIONAL
The next day (Nov. 2), Keene State and several other teams in the region traveled to Middletown, Connecticut, to compete in the non-scoring New England Invitational at Wesleyan College. The meet gave swimmers another chance to improve their times, and coaches were able to see how well their teams have progressed at this early stage of the season.
