PHOENIX, Arizona, Feb. 14. DURING the past week, the following meet managers took full advantage of uploading recent results to the Swimming World meet results section of the website.

HIGH SCHOOL
HARFORD COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL CHAMPIONSHIPS
The C. Milton Wright Mustangs dominated the team championship race at the Harford County High School Championships Feb. 5-6 at the Magnolia Middle School in Joppa, Md. The Falcons combined for 710.5 points, ahead of Fallston’s 477. Patteron Mill defeated Bel Air for third by just two points, 444-442. North Harford took fifth with 411.5 points.

CHICAGO PUBLIC SCHOOLS MEN’S VARSITY CITY CHAMPIONSHIPS
Whitney Young’s Mossimo Chavez lowered two individual (100 free, 47.18; 200 free, 1:43.47) and helped to set two relay records at the Chicago Public Schools Men’s Varsity City Championships Feb. 3 at the University of Illinois-Chicago. Chavez anchored Whitney Young’s 200 free relay of Anthony Tremmel, Daniel Shumaker and Julian Escasa to a 1:30.10 triumph; Spencer Stonberg and Seth Hughes joined Escasa and Chavez for a 3:17.49 standard in the 400 free relay, erasing the 3:21.53 the team set last year.

Matt Gullockson from Lane Technical missed a state record by 4-hundredths in the 500 free with his 4:53.88. Ramiro Alvarez still holds the mark at 4:53.84 from 2012.

MCAC BOYS CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIPS
DUPAGE VALLEY BOYS CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIPS
In preparation for the Illinois Boys State High School Championships Feb. 22-23 in Winnetka, conference championships were held. Three conferences submitted Hy-Tek results to us.

Eight boys squads from the Chicago area competed at the DuPage Valley Conference Championships Feb. 1-2 at Naperville North High School. They competed in varsity, junior varsity and freshman divisions.

The Chicago Catholic Conference (MCAC) met Feb. 2-3 at Oswego East High School. As with the DuPage Valley Conference, swimmers competed in varsity, junior varsity and freshman classifications.

At the Central Suburban League-South Championships Feb. 8 (junior varsity) and 9 (varsity) at Niles West High School, New Trier grabbed its eighth straight team title with 439 points, ahead of Glenbrook South (277), Evanston (210), Maine South (157) and Niles West (126).

COLLEGE
RUTGERS-GEORGETOWN-SETON HALL-VILLANOVA
The 9-2 Rutgers women’s team hosted Georgetown, Villanova and Seton Hall Feb. 8-9 at the Scarlet Knights’ final home meet. Rutgers defeated Seton Hall (134-33) and Georgetown (287-86), but fell to Villanova in a close dual, 179-173.

Rutgers’ Joanna Wu captured titles in the 200 free plus both backstrokes. Four swimmers nabbed two titles each: Villanova’s Kaisa Kollanus (50 and 100 free), Roxy Tammadge (500 and 1000 free) and Taylor Zafir (1650 free, 400 IM) plus Villanova’s Erin Malone (200 breast, 200 IM).

Villanova’s men’s squad earned victories against both Seton Hall (106.5-59.5) and Georgetown (181.5-174.5). Scott Thiede (50, 100 and 200 free) and Ben Smith (100 and 200 fly, plus the 200 IM) each tallied three wins for the Wildcats.

All four teams will now prepare for the Big East Championships Feb. 27-March 2 in Indianapolis, Ind.

Results: Rutgers Georgetown Seton Hall Villanova – (02-08-2013 – 02-09-2013)

NEW ENGLAND INTERCOLLEGIATE SWIMMING AND DIVING CHAMPIONSHIPS
Keene State College wound up the three-day New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Assocation Championships Feb. 8-10 with victories in both the men’s and women’s swimming portion of the meet. The swimming competition was held at the Upper Valley Aquatics Center in White River Junction, Vermont. The diving events will be held this coming weekend at Plymouth State University.

The Owls hold a 1,003.5-693 lead over Roger Williams University. Rounding out the top five teams are Norwich University (398), University of Massachusetts Dartmouth (380) and Saint Michael’s College (326). The women lead Eastern Connecticut by a score of 1,593-1,113.5. Roger Williams is in third (1,007.5), followed by Saint Michael’s College (743) and the University of New England (725).

MASTERS
DIXIE ZONE SHORT COURSE YARDS CHAMPIONSHIPS

Masters swimmers from throughout the southeastern part of the United States met in Clearwater, Fla., for the Dixie Zone Short Course Yards Championships and the annual Valentine’s meet Feb. 9-10. The Clearwater Aquatic Masters served as hosts.
