PHOENIX, Arizona, June 8. DURING the past week, the following meet managers took full advantage of uploading their results to the Swimming World meet results section of the website.

The American School of Doha in Qatar hosted the fourth in a series of Inter-Club Circuit meets June 1.

36TH SOUTHEAST ASIA AGE GROUP SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIPS

Age groupers from throughout the Southeast Asia region gathered in Palembang, Indonesia, for the 36th Southeast Asia Age Group Swimming Championships June 1-3.

3rd ANNUAL YSSC LONG COURSE SUMMER SPLASH

Y-Spartaquatics held its third annual Long Course Summer Splash June 1-3 at the Middle Tyger YMCA in Duncan, S.C.

TAMPA BAY SWIM CLASSIC

Carrollwood Village Swim Team hosted the Tampa Bay Swim Classic June 1-3 in St. Petersburg, Fla.

The Sarasota YMCA Sharks dominated the meet, scoring 1,938 points to gain the combined team title. St. Petersburg Aquatics finished in second (743), followed by the Piranhas YMCA Palm Harbor (436), Sarasota Tsunami (248) and Tampa YMCA (213).

High-point champions included Christina Cianciolo, St. Petersburg and Sebastian Aguirre, Lakewood Ranch YMCA (10-and-under); Lindsey Leadbetter, St. Petersburg and Brendan Firlie, Sarasota YMCA (11-12); Katherine Mayer, Piranhas and Joshua Chen, St. Petersburg (13-14); and Kara Plocharsky, Sarasota YMCA and Ryan McRae, Piranhas (senior).

SWIM FLORIDA SUMMER KICKOFF

Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers played host to the Swim Florida Summer Kickoff June 2. It served as a qualifying meet for several levels of championships from age group championships to Olympic Trials.

ST. JOHN’S SUMMER SWIM LEAGUE

The Julington Creek Plantation Porpoises defeated the St. John’s Stingrays, 974-899, in St. John’s Summer Swim League competition June 2. The meet was held at the St. John’s Golf and Country Club.

Also on June 2, the Marsh Landing Marlins swam against the World Golf Village Fighting Turtles in St. Petersburg, Fla.
