PHOENIX, Arizona, January 21. DURING the past week, the following meet managers took full advantage of uploading their results to the Swimming World meet results section of the website.

AGE GROUP
SPA/TBAY $1.50 SWIM MEET

Swimmers gathered in St. Petersburg Jan. 14-15 to compete in the $1.50 Swim Meet, co-hosted by St. Petersburg Aquatics and Tampa Bay Aquatics. The meet was held in short course yards.

HIGH SCHOOL
PARKWAY SOUTH GIRLS SWIMMING INVITATIONAL

Parkway South High School hosted its Girls Invitational Jan. 13-14 in Manchester, Mo. Glendale’s Gretchen Stein was named Outstanding Swimmer of the Meet for her victories in the 200 yard free (1:55.77) and 500 free (5:13.25). Glendale grabbed the top spot with 215 points, with Notre Dame de Sion (166) and Parkway South (157).

COLLEGE
KEENE STATE VS. EASTERN CONNECTICUT STATE

The Keene State women’s team defeated Eastern Connecticut State in Little East Conference action with a score of 140-111. The meet was held Jan. 14 in Keene, N.H. The victory enabled Keene State to move to a 5-1 conference record. The Owls took 15 of 16 races, led by senior Jillian Whitaker, who captured the 50 yard breast (32.23), the 100 free (56.18) and the 100 IM (1:04.02).
