Swimming With Whales In A Channel Swim

MAUI, Hawaii. February 26. 51-year-old Craig Coombs of the South End Rowing Club in San Francisco, 29-year-old Scott Harvey M.D., 38-year-old Steve Minaglia M.D. of the Coombs, 29-year-old Harvey and Minaglia departed from DT Fleming Beach on Maui before sunrise and finished some 6 hours later on Molokai.

Along the way across the Pailolo Channel, they were serenaded by humpback whales (see below).
