SwimMAC’s Victoria Dichak Chooses Towson for 2020
NEW COMMIT: Charlotte, N.C. native Victoria Dichak has announced her verbal commitment to Towson University and will suit up for the Tigers in the fall of 2020.
Primarily a butterflyer and IMer, Dichak does her club swimming with SwimMAC Carolina and most recently raced four events at Greensboro Futures this past summer after earning a best time at North Carolina LCM Seniors. Last winter, she placed 12th in the 100 fly at North Carolina SCY Seniors before going on to finish 19th in the 200 IM at Greensboro Sectionals. Also competing for Charlotte Catholic High School, Dichak placed fifth in the 200 IM during both her sophomore and junior seasons at the North Carolina 3A State Championships.
She told Swimming World:
“I am so incredibly excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and swimming careers at Towson University. I felt right at home the second I stepped on campus and everyone was so welcoming and supportive. I can’t wait for what the future holds in both the pool and the classroom and I am so honored for the opportunity to spend the next four years with this amazing team and coaching staff. Thank you to my family, friends, teammates, and coaches for guiding me along the way. GO TIGERS!!”
