Sun Yang, Yuliya Efimova Among Swimmers Entered in 2016 Arena Pro Swim Series Santa Clara (Psych Sheets)

Sun Yang, who missed Chinese Nationals to protect an injured foot last month, is one of many international swimmers slated to compete at the 2016 Arena Pro Swim Series Santa Clara next weekend.

Sun is set to compete in the 200 free, 400 free and 1500 free throughout the weekend. The 200 free is particularly loaded with Conor Dwyer, David McKeon, Maxime Rooney and Kyle Chalmers among the top five seeds.

Australia is sending a large group of swimmers to the meet with top swimmers like Mitch Larkin, Emily Seebohm, Chalmers and James Magnussen slated to compete.  Additionally, Emma McKeon, Madison Wilson, Madeline Groves, Jessica Ashwood and Bronte Barratt also are set to swim at the meet.

Local stars Nathan Adrian and Natalie Coughlin are set to compete as well.  Adrian will compete in the 50 free and 100 free, while Coughlin will swim in the 50 free and 100 free as well as the 100 back.

Dana Vollmer will also compete at the meet, scheduled in the 50 free, 100 free and 100 fly.

Additionally, Yuliya Efimova, who is currently embroiled in a positive doping test fight after testing positive for meldonium, is slated to appear at the meet.
