PHOENIX, Arizona, February 9. SOME of the best swimmers in Australia will start racing later today in the New South Wales state championships in Sydney.

Olympians Leisel Jones, Libby Trickett, Eamon Sullivan, Geoff Huegill, Cate Campbell and Michael Klim will be just a few of the big names swimming this weekend in what is likely to be the last big racing opportunity before the Olympic Trials in five weeks. World champion James Magnussen and worlds silver medalist Alicia Coutts will also be racing in their preparation for Trials, and Sweden's Therese Alshammar, who trains in Australia, will be one to watch in the sprint events. We'll recap finals for you on swimmingworld.com.

This is just one of many, many meets taking place this weekend around the world, and we'll let you know about more of them on tomorrow's edition of Streamlined News.
