Michael Bohl announced yesterday that Stephanie Rice is entered in the New South Wales State Championships next week in Sydney for the first time since shoulder surgery in December. Rice has been back in training since shortly after that surgery, but she has still considered dropping the 400 IM from her Olympic schedule and not defending her Olympic title. Bohl says that Rice will only race next weekend if her shoulder holds up well over the week of hard training in the lead-up. That meet will be the last big meet down under before Australia's Olympic Trials.
