PHOENIX, Arizona, October 26. THE United States water polo teams keep rolling through the rounds at the Pan American Games, with the men beating Argentina 13-7 and the women trouncing Cuba 19-3. The women play their semifinal game against Brazil this afternoon, while the men get a day off to prepare for their semifinal game against Cuba on Thursday.

Diving begins today in Mexico at the Pan American Games, and the first final will be the men’s synchronized three-meter springboard. Troy Dumais and Kristian Ipsen of the United States will have a challenge on their hands from the Mexican duo of Yahel Castillo and Julian Sanchez. The Mexicans finished third in this event at the world championships this year, while Dumais and Ipsen were fourth. Also worth watching is the Canadian duo of Reuben Ross and Eric Sehn. That event starts today at 7:30 p.m. Central time.
