Sprinter Lara Jackson and Coach Leigh Nugent on The Morning Swim Show Interview Segment, July 7, 2009

PHOENIX, Arizona, July 7. ONE of the fastest female sprinters in the world and a leading youth coach for Australia are today's guests on the interview segment of The Morning Swim Show.

Host Peter Busch talks with sprinter Lara Jackson on the eve of the world championship trials. Jackson talks about how she views her competition, how her swimming has changed since the death of her father and what her chances are for making her first world championship team. Leigh Nugent was one of the coaches accompanying the Australian team during their summer tour of the United States in June. Nugent talked about the reasons how Australia's youth benefit from traveling to race against some of the best in the United States and how Australia s using the post-Olympic year to begin identify swimmers as possible representatives for Australia at the 2012 Olympics.
