SPMA SCM Championships Feature More Than 30 Masters World Records

LONG BEACH, California, December 4. WHILE the best of USA Swimming did battle in Atlanta, Ga., are the USA Short Course Championships, the best of United States Masters Swimming assembled in Long Beach, Calif., this weekend at the Southern Pacific Masters Association (SPMA) SCM Championships.

Irvine Novaquatics won the overall team trophy with 2172.5 points, while San Diego Swim Masters took second with 2019 points. The hosts, Long Beach Grunions, placed third with 1347 points.

More than 30 world records tumbled throughout the meet held at the Belmont Olympic Plaza from Nov. 30 to Dec. 2. Here is a list of all the global standards reported to be set at the meet with previous records in parenthesis ():
