South Carolina Swimming and Diving Releases 2015-2016 Schedule

South Carolina head swimming and diving head coach McGee Moody announced his team’s 2015-16 schedule on Thursday, which features four home meets at the Blatt P.E. Center/Carolina Natatorium.

The Gamecocks will open the season on the road at the Florida Gulf Coast Invitational in Ft. Myers, Fla. on Oct. 3.

The men’s squad will kick off South Carolina’s home slate against Purdue on Oct. 24. Both the men and women will face Alabama at Carolina Natatorium the following week (Oct. 31) before traveling to Gainesville, Fla. on Nov. 6 for a dual meet with Florida.

The Gamecocks will wrap up the fall portion of their schedule at the Georgia Tech Invitational in Atlanta, Ga., which runs Nov. 19-21.

South Carolina will begin the second half of the season at home, hosting Duke on Jan. 8. The Gamecock women will then travel to Nashville, Tenn. on Jan. 17 for SEC action with Vanderbilt.

The final home meet will be a two-day contest with UNC Wilmington, Queens and Wingate On Jan. 22 and 23.

The Gamecocks close out the regular season on the road in a tri-meet with East Carolina and William and Mary in Greensville, N.C. on Jan. 30.

Missouri will host the SEC Championships, which run Feb. 16-20 in Columbia, Mo. On. March 7-9, South Carolina’s qualified divers will compete in the NCAA Zone Diving Championships. Both the men and women’s NCAA Championships will take place at the Georgia Tech Aquatic Center in Atlanta, Ga., with the women’s set for March 17-19 and the men’s running March 24-26.
