SH International: First Day Complete in Iceland

HAFNARFJORDUR, Iceland, May 30. THE first day of swimming came to a close at the SH International meet held in Iceland this weekend.

Sanja Jovanovic, the top female swimmer in Croatia, topped the 50 back (28.69) 200 back (2:15.48) events, while local swimmer Erla Dogg Haraldsdottir won both the 50 fly (28.36) and 200 fly (2:29.42). For the men, Nedim Nisic claimed the 50 fly (26.38) and 200 fly (2:25.50).

Individually, Hrafnhildur Luthersdottir won the women's 100 breast (1:11.32), while Sigrun Bra Sverrisdottir took the women's 100 free (58.28).

In men's swimming, Darren Mew claimed the 100 breast in 1:03.72, while Igor Cerensek took first in the 100 free in 51.66. Orn Arnarson topped the 50 back in 26.23, while David Hildiberg Adals won the 200 back in 2:14.26.
