Women’s 4×100 Medley Relay

After winning a tight 4×200 freestyle relay last night, Cheshire fought off tight competition again tonight. Alexandra Tyler (55.36) got the Sea Dogs off to an early lead. After Elizabeth Boyer‘s breaststroke leg (1:02.88) the team was in second and Boise (Eva Suggs– 56.02, Sammie Eyolfson– 1:02.16) was leading. Boise grew that lead over Cheshire with Charity Pittard (55.10) while Cheshire’s Mia Leko split a 55.55.

Through the first three legs (Madeline Reilly 56.54, Hannah Ownbey 1:02.07, Annika McEnroe 54.25) Spartanburg stayed in the top three.

Ultimately, a 49.53 second freestyle leg from Sophie Murphy set Cheshire apart, as the team got to the wall in 3:43.32. Kirsti McEnroe (50.93) anchored Spartanburg to a runner up finish and Nikita Rubocki (50.57) got Boise to the wall in third.
