Ryan Lochte sat down with the media in Mesa before this weekend’s stop of the Arena Pro Swim Series. Action gets underway this morning and continues through Saturday night.

Lochte is entered in the 100 and 200 freestyle, 100 and 200 butterfly, 100 backstroke, and 200 IM and says he plans to race them all.

“Right now I’m having a blast… I don’t see myself really quitting anytime soon,” said the 31 year old while discussing how much fun he still has. Marsh talked about what a great year of training this has been, and how much he believes Lochte truly enjoys practicing.

Coach David Marsh weighed in on his swimmer’s training and preparation, and the quick swimming taking place around the world.

There was some conversation surrounding Lochte’s event schedule heading into Olympic Trials, with a few questions about the daunting 400 IM and other talents who are setting themselves up to challenge the veteran.

While Marsh remains well aware of the swimming scene world wide, he was quick to remind the media that the Americans must remained most focused on the Olympic Trials in Omaha, before shifting too much attention to Rio.
