Russian Water Polo Player Alexander Bodyakin Serves Six-Month Antidoping Sanction

LAUSANNE, Switzerland, November 19. RECENTLY, FINA announced that Russian water polo player Alexander Bodyakin has served a six-month anti-doping suspension.

Bodyakin tested positive for Furosemide, a Class S.5 Diuretic, during an out-of-competition doping control test that took place on March 7, 2011.

The Russian Water Polo Federation levied a six-month ban on Bodyakin that began on March 21, 2011, and has already ended.
