Russia Maintains Momentum During Duet Free Routine Synchro at Europeans

BUDAPEST, Hungary, July 30. THE Russian duo of Anastasi Davydova and Anastassia Ermakova continued Russia’s dominance of the synchronized swimming events at the 28th LEN Europeans Championships in Budapest, Hungary on Sunday. The pair relied on the strength of its artistic impression score of 49.5 en route to a 98.8 tally for gold during the event.

Meanwhile, the Spain team of Gemma Mengual and Paola Tirados earned a silver medal 97.5 based on a technical merit score of 48.7 and an artistic impression tally of 48.8.

The Greek pair of Eleftheria Ftouli and Evanthia Makrygianni garnered bronze with a 94.
