Rosario de Vivanco Sets FINA Masters World Record

LIMA, Peru, April 21. OVER the weekend, Peru's Rosario "Chocho" de Vivanco lowered the FINA Masters World Record in the women's 50 free of the 60-64 age division at the Peru Masters Championships. de Vivanco clocked a time of 30.55 in the event. The meet took place over long course meters.

The time bettered Lynette Stevenson's FINA Masters world mark of 30.96 she set last year, according to FINA.

de Vivanco was a member of the Peru Masters world champion 200 free relay at the 2008 FINA Masters World Championships.
