Robert Glinta Headlines Day 3 at Romanian Nationals

Robert Glinta posted the top swim of the night with a winning effort in the men’s 100-meter back at the 2016 Romanian Nationals meet.

Glinta, who is ranked 13th in the world in the 100 back with a 53.43 from the European Championships, won the event in 54.32 tonight.  Daniel Martin took second in 56.88 with Andrei Anghel snagging third in 57.44.

Ana Iulia Dascal picked up the women’s 200-meter free title in 2:04.55.  Maria Claudia Gadea touched second in 2:06.73 with Victorita Bogdaneci placing third in 2:06.88.

Ionut Radu raced his way to the men’s 200-meter free title in 1:53.32.  Radu Duican took second in 1:53.75 with Andrei Rusen taking third in 1:54.45.

Tatiana Chisca captured the women’s 50-meter breast in a time of 31.65.  Florina Ilie finished second in 32.90 with Andreea Puchiu wound up third in 34.26.

Andrei Roman picked up the men’s 50-meter breast in 29.15 with Ion Alexandru Manoliu taking second in 29.77.  Andreeas Dinca finished third in 30.20.

Carina Macavei won the women’s 100-meter back in 1:03.24.  Tatiana Perstniova placed second in 1:04.74 with Amel Melih finishing third in 1:04.95.
