PHOENIX, Arizona, March 13. TODAY’S live edition of The Morning Swim Show featured an interview with French Olympian Fred Bousquet, NCAA and Olympic champion Chrissy Ahmann Perham and renowned coach Jack Simon.

In case you missed our live show (airing each weekday at 10:30 a.m. MST), you can watch the video below and see host Peter Busch’s interview with Fred Bousquet, who talked about his surprise 21.44 50-meter free at the Austin Grand Prix. Bousquet also talked about the training atmosphere at Auburn, the aftermath of the epic 400 free relay in Beijing and his new tattoo.

Chrissy Ahmann Perham, an NCAA champion in the 100 butterfly in 1991 and 1992, talked about the progression of times in the event in the past 17 years, the comparisons between the Olympics and NCAAs and what she’s up to now.

ASCA Hall of Fame coach Jack Simon relived the events that got him the job coaching some of the fastest swimmers in China leading up to the China Games this fall. Simon also talked about the state of Chinese swimming and how his coaching techniques from the 70s still apply today.
