PHOENIX, Arizona, February 16. TODAY’S live edition of The Morning Swim Show featured look back at a weekend of fast swimming on the high school and elite level.

After recapping the news regarding the new national high school records set in four states last weekend, host Peter Busch talked with Mel Stewart, who gave his thoughts on the top swimmers at the Missouri Grand Prix. Stewart highlighted such swimmers as Mary DeScenza, Ryan Lochte and Fred Bousquet.

Janel Jorgensen also joined the show to talk about the Swim Quick fundraiser in honor of Richard Quick. Jorgensen said thousands of swimmers from the United States held some sort of event to help raise money for cancer research. She also updated viewers on Quick’s health, saying he continues to be upbeat.
