Randall Bal Shines at EA7 Swimming Cup

MILANO, Italy, September 22. RANDALL Bal put on a strong showing at the EA7 Swimming Cup held in Milano, Italy this weekend.

Bal topped Hungarian Laszlo Cseh in both the 50 and 100 back during the event. First, Bal clocked a time of 25.98 against Cseh's 26.03, in the 50. Then, he touched in 54.01, ahead of Cseh's 55.38, in the 100. Razvan Florea of Romania finished third in both swims with times of 26.27 and 55.43.

Several other top swims occurred at the meet as well. Sweden's Therese Alshammar won the women's 50 free and fly with times of 25.73 and 26.61. Jemma Lowe of Great Britain took the women's 100 fly in 59.92, while Hannah Miley of Great Britain won the women's 200 IM in 2:13.74. Alessandro Calvi of Italy swept the men's 50 and 100 free events in 22.78 and 50.50.
