Purdue Adds 2020 In-State Verbal from Zionsville Swim Club’s Belle Hinshaw
NEW COMMIT: Purdue University has received a new in-state verbal commitment for the 2020-21 season and beyond from Zionsville, Ind. native and curent high school junior Belle Hinshaw.

Also competing for Brebeuf Jesuit Prep School, Hinshaw raced the 100/200 free combo during both her freshman and sophomore seasons at the Indiana State Championships.
She told Swimming World:
“I’m so excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue to swim and study at Purdue University! Thanks to my family, friends, coaches, and teammates who’ve made this possible! Boiler up!”
Her best times include:
- 50 free – 24.03
- 100 free – 51.23
- 200 free – 1:51.90
- 50 back – 27.77
- 100 back – 57.65
- 200 back – 2:03.88
Hinshaw will add even more depth to an already-talented freestyle and backstroke group when she suits up for the Boilermakers as a member of the class of 2024. She’ll be joining a sprint freestyle group led by Maizie Seidl and Greta DeCoursey as well as a backstroke group that’ll include Tessa Wrightson.
