This issue complete’s the year’s focus on stroke with a look at freestyle from both the sprint and distance points of view. Ron Ballatore of UCLA and Dick Jochums of the University of Arizona provide their comments and training methods on those respective areas. SWIMMING TECHNIQUE will continue to focus on one of the four strokes in each issue, but it will no longer be the cover story, or receive as much attention as it has during this initial series. This installment begins on page 8.
