Night five of the 2017 FINA World Junior Championships saw a sizzling seven records fall down. Five championship records and two World Junior Records (WJR) fell throughout the session.

Team Canada’s 400 free relay, headlined by Olympians Taylor Ruck and Penny Oleksiak, posted a new World Junior Record, while Michael Andrew lowered the men’s 50 fly in semi-finals.
