Day one finals of the 2017 FINA World Junior Championships saw a mass of excitement as three new world junior records were set.

Nicolo Martinenghi of Italy lowered his own world junior record in the men’s 100 breast, while Canada’s Taylor Ruck took down Minna Atherton’s 100 back world junior record.

Beautiful pictures! What I love is that it’s a bigger stage, but it’s still a swim meet (italics) with the kids excited and having fun. ??‍♂️?‍♀️
